Agreement to these terms

LxOptics is provided by Alcyonite (“Alcyonite,” “we,” “us”). By downloading, installing, or using LxOptics, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

License

Subject to these terms and any applicable App Store terms, Alcyonite grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use LxOptics for your personal or internal business use on Apple devices you own or control.

You may use output created with LxOptics in your own projects, including commercial projects, provided you have the necessary rights in the source materials you use.

Restrictions

You may not copy, redistribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works from LxOptics except where applicable law expressly permits it. You may not remove proprietary notices or use the software to infringe another party’s rights.

Your content

You retain ownership of your media and projects. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring that you have all permissions, licenses, and releases needed to use it. Alcyonite does not claim ownership of your creative output.

Updates and availability

We may provide updates, modify features, or discontinue LxOptics or part of it. We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available or that the software will work with every version of macOS, Final Cut Pro, Motion, hardware configuration, or third-party product.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

LxOptics is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Alcyonite disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alcyonite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of LxOptics. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for LxOptics in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts with jurisdiction in Indonesia will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
